what is cbd good for?

CBD-rich hemp is a non-psychoactive makes it an appealing option for patients looking for relief from inflammationchronic & acute painanxietydepression, psychosisseizures, insomnia, spasms, and other conditions without disconcerting feelings of lethargy or dysphoria.

which product should i choose?

Our 500 mg and 1000 mg tinctures can be used for relief from all conditions that CBD is known for including chronic & acute pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia and seizures. In addition we have also developed a few products for specific ailments: Our Deep Rest Formula is specifically formulated for those that struggle with sleep. Our Soothing Salve is perfect to apply topically directly to aching hands or feet. Our Massage Oil is wonderful for a deeper relief for back pain.

HOW DO I USE THE TINCTURES?

The easiest and most effective way to administer CBD is under your tongue, where it is absorbed directly into your bloodstream. This method of delivery bypasses the two systems in your body that can reduce the desired effects of CBD: the pulmonary system (lungs) and the digestive system. Both systems mentioned above can filter out large amounts of the medicine you’re trying to get into your bloodstream, but the digestive system—most notably, the liver—is extremely effective at diluting chemicals that pass through it. Because CBD oil can be absorbed directly into your bloodstream under your tongue and because these blood vessels are close to your brain, the CBD doesn’t pass through your lungs or your liver. And when CBD bypasses the liver and the lungs, it retains its original potency. That’s great news for those who want to get the most out of their medicine.

How much should i use?

Cannabis is a personalized medicine. The right CBD cannabis treatment depends on the person and the condition being treated. As with most substances, individuals with more body mass will require more CBD to experience its effects. With that being said, a good rule of thumb to determine your proper starting CBD dosage is to take 1–6MG of CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight depending on your level of pain. We encourage you to follow the recommendations on the bottle and remember that few small does throughout the course of the day is better than one big dose.

Our 500 mg tinctures contain about 17 mg in each full dropper

Our 1000 mg tinctures contain about 33 mg per full dropper

Can You Overdose On CBD?

It is nearly impossible to overdose on CBD if you use it sensibly. The only repercussion one CBD user felt when he took a high dose was a sense of drowsiness. However, the tendency to want to sleep may not even be considered negative if you suffer from insomnia. So what’s a high dose of CBD? We’re talking something like 50,000 milligrams of CBD. That works out to about 300 milligrams for every 2.5 pounds of body weight. There’s really no reason you would ever have to take that much CBD. In fact, your average 180-pound male suffering from severe pain would only need to take 25 milligrams at most to feel relief. That’s a long way from 50,000 milligrams. To put that in perspective, 25 milligrams of CBD equals ⅛ teaspoon, while 50,000 milligrams equals about 33 tablespoons. And that’s 33 tablespoons of PURE CBD which you will not find in any CBD oil on the market. So it’s safe to say that even doses up to 1500 milligrams for an extended period of time (eg., 4 weeks) are safe and won’t cause any negative side effects

CAN CBD interact with other medications?

The short answer is yes. CBD can interfere and interact with other drugs, including prescription and over-the-counter remedies. An easy way to determine if CBD interacts with your medication is if you’re supposed to avoid grapefruit while taking your prescription. I found this article helpful when exploring this topic. If you are concerned, I highly recommend that you talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

is it safe for DOGS?

The benefits of using CBD for your dog is incredible, with more and more people seeking the treatment for their furry friends. Products containing this substance have opened up a whole new world for pet care and those who believe in natural remedies. See the above table for starting dose recommendations. Benefits of CBD Oil for Dogs:

  • Treats Seizures and Epilepsy | Many dog owners turn to CBD when their canine suffers from seizures and epilepsy. High levels of CBD can manage your pet’s seizures. Over time, it has been known to reduce the frequency of them, and in some cases get rid of the seizures altogether.

  • Relieves Chronic Pain/Arthritis | Even dogs can’t escape arthritis, but CBD can help with that. Arthritis is the inflammation of joints that cause aching, pain, and other degenerative illnesses. As CBD is a pain reliever, it targets these aching joints and gives your dog relief. Not only that, but it soothes the chronic inflammation that prevents your pet from healing properly.

  • Boost Appetite | When a dog loses their appetite, it can be hard to know the reason why. Majority of the time, however, they lose it due to nausea. As a human, we won’t eat when we feel like that unless we take something to alleviate the digestive issue and receive pain relief. CBD can do this for your pet.

  • Reduces Anxiety | If you have ever suffered from anxiety, then you know that it is awful, and it would be the same for your dog too. Many dogs suffer from anxiety and have been known to be depressed and extremely anxious in certain situations, such as when their owner leaves. This can result in destructive behaviors such as chewing objects, urinating, pacing, and more. CBD helps because it is a relaxing stimulant that calms your pet.

  • Prevents and Fights Cancer | Unfortunately, dogs can get cancer too, and when they do they have symptoms of nausea, loss of appetite, and chronic pain. CBD allows your pet to feel comfortable during those difficult times and helps to reduce the side effects that cancer can have on your dog. Pet owners are also giving their dogs small doses of CBD daily as it has been proven to aid in preventing and killing cancer by: Helping the immune system to kill cancer cells, Blocks the cancer cells ability to produce energy, Contains anti-tumor properties

  • Helps All Types of Diseases | The majority of diseases in dogs all result in the same types of symptoms – chronic pain, nausea, loss of appetite, change in behavior, etc. CBD is an all-around stimulant that can help your dog relax and alleviate pain in troubling times. Some diseases that CBD helps with includes:

Inflammatory Bowel Disease | Autoimmune Disease | Neurodegenerative Disease | Cardiovascular Disease

Do your oils contain thc?

For maximum benefit, our products are made with Full Spectrum CBD which means they include both cannabidiol (CBD), a non-intoxicating compound and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive component of cannabis. the CBD and THC interact to enhance each other’s therapeutic effects.

There are two sources of CBD oil. One source is the hemp plant, while the other comes from the marijuana plant. These two sources vary in their genetic makeup and the purpose for which people grow them. Marijuana plants contain a higher level of THC, which is a psychoactive drug that binds to the endocannabinoid system’s cannabinoid 1 receptors. It’s the agent inside of marijuana that gets you “high”. People grow hemp plants for their seeds and stalk. It’s used for textiles, clothes, food, and other industrial purposes.

A plant must contain less than 0.3% of THC to be considered hemp. All our products come from hemp and are legal in all 50 states.

WILL your oils cause me to fail a drug test?

According to the standards set by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the limit of THC in your system to fail a drug test is 40ng/ml. This is the standard that most businesses use. This isn’t universal, but it is the majority. There might be a company or two (think NASA) that sets the limit at zero, but they’d have a hard time finding anyone at that level, CBD oil use or not. The MHSA standard is the most common, but there are some companies that use different level.

All CBD oil from hemp contains less than .3% THC or less, ours are at 0.16% for 1000 mg products and 0.06% for 500 mg products. The average CBD user takes between 1/mg a day and 40/mg. At that rate, it would be almost impossible to fail a drug test because of THC. Now, if someone were to take a massive dose of CBD oil before a drug test, they might run into a problem. By massive dose, however, we mean that they would have to consume around 1300mg or more. As it stands, we’ve never heard of anyone failing a drug test because of CBD use. If they have, it’s because they went well above the recommended dosage.

If someone does fail a drug test, they have the right to dispute the findings. At that point, they’ll test for THC instead of cannabinoids.
